Shiitake mushrooms have one of the highest amounts of natural copper, a mineral that supports healthy blood vessels, bones, and immune support. The mushrooms are also a rich source of selenium, providing 33 percent of your DRI.

Improve heart health: Shiitake mushrooms contain eritadenine, a compound known to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood. They also contain beta-glucans that reduce inflammation and help prevent the intestines from absorbing cholesterol.

Support immune health: Shiitake are rich in polysaccharides like lentinans and other beta-glucans. These compounds protect against cell damage, help your immune system, and boost white blood cell production for fighting off microbes. Polysaccharides also have anti-inflammatory properties.*

People with Auto-immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), or other conditions should seek advice of their medical professional before use. Shiitake mushroom might cause the immune system to become more active. This could increase the symptoms of auto-immune diseases.

Suggested Use:

Shake well before each use. Use 1-2 droppers directly under the tongue up to 2x daily or as needed. Keep out of direct sunlight and heat.

Tinctures can be mixed with a liquid to dilute the concentrated flavor – add to tea, coffee, cocoa and other hot beverages (the heat will cause any alcohol solvent to evaporate leaving the beneficial compounds in the cup for you to drink), add to smoothies, oatmeal, soups, salad dressing and anything else you would like.

This tinctures is made using 100% fruiting body of organic Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) farm-grown at Thunder and Lightning Mushroom Farm LLC and dual extracted using 95% organic grain alcohol solvent and distilled water decoction. Our tincture is 25-30% alcohol by volume to provide shelf stable conditions.
